Born in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., Ashleigh Bailey spent her early childhood in Florida, Texas, and small-town Ohio. After graduating from high school in Greensboro, N.C., she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in political science with an Afro-American studies minor. During college she served as Multi-Ethnicity Team Leader on the Coordinating Team of UNC’s chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) and enjoyed religion classes on early Judaism and the New Testament. Currently living in California, Ashleigh graduated with an M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2010, and is now working on a degree in family studies. In her spare time she enjoys reading, German board games, trips to IKEA, and eating Thai food with her husband Jeremiah.
